As an ex-bus driver, i can tell you that drivers cant do that, and keep a job.
School bus drivers have little or NO authority to do anything concerning discipline, beyond reporting a student.

Have you ever driven a bus? It’s not as easy as most people think! Consider just a few factors Louie didn’t have to deal with, like idiots driving around him, watching where HE’S going, being able to see everything going on behind him, and the other 45 kids on the bus…

yeah, me too! First thing I thought after reading the comic and there my words were – by JP Steve.
And I don’t think RX etc was actually criticizing bus drivers. We all know that job is tough! However, bullying has become a rampant problem, and laws that were put in place to protect children actually are what hampers anyone from doing anything about bullying. We would all like to seeing things simple as they are in Louie’s world.
