Don't miss the daily misadventures of cartoonist Chip Dunham's clever crew of shipboard malcontents, incompetents and laggards. Overboard stands out with a pointed wit that has dagger-sharp timing and effect.
Louie, the ship's faithful dog, is the center of attention of the adventures on land and at sea. His human companions not only have to deal with Louie and his requests, but also the many problems they face living at sea, like dolphins eating their garden, and sea monsters taunting Louie. The entertaining exchanges between Louie and the humans on the ship will have readers coming back for more of this cast-away comedy. Man overboard!

If you look behind you very hard., you’ll see a fool walking his dog, which is strange because I’ve never seen a winter hurricane. Blizzards, yes, but not a hurricane.

Dog’s motto…neither rain, nor sleet, etc. etc. etc. Revenge ends up in the strangest places, like overnight. But, Louie’s happy and he is what counts….are all dogs this spoiled?
Happy, happy, happy!!!

If you were on the New England coast in February, 1978, you saw a winter hurricane. It may have been called the Blizzard of ’78, but it was a winter hurricane.

I think it’s only the Weather Channel that’s naming the winter storms.
Around here, we call those “winter hurricanes” nor’easters and they can be bad news indeed. They tend to hang around longer than hurricanes and drive up more water for flooding.
