Don't miss the daily misadventures of cartoonist Chip Dunham's clever crew of shipboard malcontents, incompetents and laggards. Overboard stands out with a pointed wit that has dagger-sharp timing and effect.
Louie, the ship's faithful dog, is the center of attention of the adventures on land and at sea. His human companions not only have to deal with Louie and his requests, but also the many problems they face living at sea, like dolphins eating their garden, and sea monsters taunting Louie. The entertaining exchanges between Louie and the humans on the ship will have readers coming back for more of this cast-away comedy. Man overboard!

Is pink insulation what the Americans call outlawed, carcinogenic asbestos?
Rista said, 5 months ago
@Prof danglais
Nope its sort of like spun glass fiber stuff, most houses have it. It’s good insulation actually and mice like to nest in it but I don’t believe anything actually eats it.

@Rista
It would probably kill anything that ate it. It sheds little glass particles when disturbed (or eaten). Protective clothing and respiratory protection are important when handling. I insulated the ceilings in our house after we moved in. Horrible work but much warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Careful, Jonas. That extra ounce and a half can really mess up the weight and balance calculations of your airplane.

Good Morning Crew,
I have news for you all. A 10 ounce rodent is officially a RAT, not a mouse. Run, Jonas Run.

Pink insulation is just fiberglass insulation.
IIRC, Owens Corning patented using the
pink color.
Decades ago, there were some commercials
featuring the Pink Panther up in an attic with
a roll of the pink stuff. He’d give it a gentle
kick and it would unroll….

Work had me running so hard fro Thanksgiving to New Years that I lost over 10 pounds
I’m on vacation, being a lazy as I can stand it, and hoping to gain a few back
If I’m not at least 170 pounds there doesn’t seem to be enough fat reserve in my body for the *big push" I need on my busy nights

Even rats can’t live on that.
