Don't miss the daily misadventures of cartoonist Chip Dunham's clever crew of shipboard malcontents, incompetents and laggards. Overboard stands out with a pointed wit that has dagger-sharp timing and effect.
Louie, the ship's faithful dog, is the center of attention of the adventures on land and at sea. His human companions not only have to deal with Louie and his requests, but also the many problems they face living at sea, like dolphins eating their garden, and sea monsters taunting Louie. The entertaining exchanges between Louie and the humans on the ship will have readers coming back for more of this cast-away comedy. Man overboard!

Got ’im there !!!
It’s way too easy to get the “first” comment if you live only a timezone or two to the West of the International Date Line. Trouble is you gotta’ come back later to read all the others. Even now there’s only a few (or none) on most comics and it’s after 8PM here (Tuesday).
It still suprises me how many US-based readers assume that only other US-based readers come here.
Comics, like the Internet, are international.

When I spent 2 months in Singapore, I had the same problem! I would have to read the strips at 8pm, and re-read at 8am for comments! LOL

happy believe it or not, there is a brand of winter store bought tomatoes I have discovered that are VERY VERY good! The company is Sunset, which I believe is out of Canada. One of the tomato varieties is called Kumato. They are a chocolate brown with green shoulders. Trust me, THEY ARE DELICIOUS! Then you have their golf ball sized Campari, and their cherry brands called Zima (orange) and One Sweet (red) . Again, the brand is Sunset. They are a wee bit pricer per pound or package, but WELL WORTH IT. And often times they are on sale. But if you love tomatoes, why buy crappy ones at a cheap price, when you can have delicious ones for a bit more. I think I’m worth it! :-)

I don’t think so: You checked out memberships lately? Produce is still pretty cheap, even out of season.

Dry I get those tomatoes here. They are very tasty! Oddly enough, today I bought “Mini Sweets” grape tomatoes from Palmetto, Fla. I didn’t have time to go to the store that has the others.
The Mini Sweets aren’t bad. More flavour than the pale tasteless things they usually pass for tomatoes this time of year.
tock tick tock tick.

Shika, the tomatoes of late for winter grocery stores are getting better if you know what to look for and don’t mind paying a few cents more. To me, it is worth it! I love fresh, good tomatoes!
