Next thing you know, Louie will eat the Captain’s strawberries. Then WATCH OUT!

WoodEye, I’ve thought the same thing plus why does Raymond walk upright like a human?
fritzoid said, about 1 month ago
The question is not “Why can Raymond talk?”, rather it’s “Why can’t Louie talk?”
In this strip, the rabbits can talk, the mice can talk, the cat can talk…

OK, finally I must speak (well, actually ‘ask’). Does anyone know the history of Raymond Vs. Louie? Why DOES Raymond talk AND walk on his hind legs? I fell in love with this strip the first time I saw it several years ago - Nate was ‘vacuuming’ on the ship and Louie was contemplating facing the ‘monster’ Vs. the sharks in the water - and Nate caught him by the hind legs just in time when Louie apparently chose the sharks and was diving into the water! Sorry for the Newbie question but I LOVE Overboard, I guess it’s because I’m a dog-lover/love-those-Labradors kind of person… :-)
