There’s nothing worse than a good set of wind chimes!

Neighbors put up glass windchimes outside their front door, so I got a big bamboo set and put them up outside my front door. So we’ve got a regular chorus of “tinkely-tinkely-tink” and “clunkety-clunkety-clunk”.

Dangle some tomatoes from it, and maybe the rabbits will take it…
Good morning, Crew!! @Akenta & MoParMitch, good luck on the first day of school! My babies are growing up fast (while I, of course, stay young…)

Wind chimes? WHAT wind chimes? I never saw no wind chimes!
Morning Crew
WoodEye - try this … rented a basement apartment … landlords liked exotic birds, had several dozen small singing birds (don’t remember the name…) they took the space under their stairs (cement stair case, huge!) and closed it in for a ‘bird room” … it was one wall of my apartment … I could hear 30 birds chirping at 6, 7 and 8 am while I was going to bed at 2 or 2:30 (due to working till 12am) … it wasn’t pleasant trust me …
Good luck to those going back to school

GOOD MORNING CREW!!
There’s nothing like the sound of wind chimes after they get tangled up in a storm and go from tinkle-tinkle to thunk-thunk.
lightenup I have been working four day weeks (long days, but monday off!) so I don’t have to deal with the school busses today. School started last Monday here in Cherokee County. The busses roll thru our ‘hood really early. I feel bad for the kids getting out there so early. My kids are grown. I’m old but not grown up. May we all remain forever young!
Happy Monday everyone!

Good Morning, Crew
Apparently, I’m in a minority - I actually like windchimes.

I like them, too, but mine always seem to get tangled and then they don’t sound so good or look good. I suppose that is my fault for not taking better care of them.

The mice will probably make a carnival ride out of them and then Nate could make a lot of gold!
Good Monday Morning Crew!

Aarrgh, Crew.
One’s own wind-chimes sound lovely.
Those of the neighbor one likes are tolerable, just barely.
Those of the neighbor one dislikes are an obnoxious disturbance of the peace.

So this is the crew! Hello everybody.
Since we seem to be on the subject of wind-chimes, I have some on my back patio, but due to the uncomfortable heat wave there has been no wind.
No wind means no chime.
Guess I’ll have to wait till fall.

good evening crew. catching up on 3 days away from toon land. good to have enough free time to visit.

Good evening, Crew. I’ve got a few wind chimes, but they are indoors - occasionally I’ll open a window and see if they will stir.
lightenup this morning wasn’t too bad. I made sure I got up earlier and even though I saw a few school buses, the traffic wasn’t too bad. I have a feeling it won’t last.

Wind chimes on a boat, no matter how pleasant they sound, wouldn’t stop ringing, and would become very annoying.

I love wind chimes in a slight breeze but take them down when it’s really windy.
