His human companions not only have to deal with Louie and his requests, but also the many problems they face living at sea, like dolphins eating their garden, and sea monsters taunting Louie. How did Louie place the chair without thumbs? I remember the Far Side with a cartoon addressing this very issue…

Gives a whole new realm of possibilities to the statement “No man can come unto Me unless he draws them…’
Send more pencils to Rome! But the pope can’t draw me until he knows what I look like. So I’m not going to Rome.

How did Louie place the chair without thumbs?
——————————————–
He didn’t, Chip drew the chair in that position at Louie’s request.
Although doors don’t normally open towards outside the room. Maybe that’s another gag, the captain is pushing when he should be pulling.

I can chip. I can play the draw. But I can’t chip a draw with the chair.
But I guess I haven’t really tried that with my 8-iron yet.

EMET - I know…….my name was going to be Jedi Princess (as in Princess Leia), but someone stole it. Lol.

SelaynoOfGallifrey is quite a bit less obvious than Leia. When one revels in obscurity, things like “42” creep into everything one signs. Louie lives a pure life and that ice cream was meant for him. The Captain’s temporary designs on it were all part of the plan. And Louie didn’t even have to use his “eyes” either.
