Alas, the beginning of the long awaited Cat and mouse war begins. Anyone wish to wager on the outcome of thisadventure?

Why did he make the cat a ridiculous purple and the mice a normal brown? It’s really bugging me and I can’t get into this storyline because it’s so distracting. Ugh.

It’s obvious they’ve picked up the very rare purple cat from a visit to the isle of Anatra. Peoples Republic of Anatra has been shelter to many unseen breeds. Anatra makes Galapagos look like Disney

“The strangest thing that ever could be,” said Jonathan Wonathan Higgins McGee, “is a yellow cat with purple ears. A flouncy pouncy kind of cat, with pointed purple ears. But I’ll never see that!”
from a kiddy book I used to read my kid brother when he was a toddler. The things one remembers…
Nothing truly new under the sun.

The purpleness of the cat is absolutely hideous and completely in keeping with its role. This is not some cuddly fat wisecracking snuggler, this is an evil vicious heartless monster… You know, just like a real cat.

A human sized purple cat, covered in triangles, speaks English and wants to kill mice. Fits right in!

Why let a cat cause such problems when they have two big dogs on board?

They have a Purple Ewe, why not a Purple Cat?
Or a Three-headed Purple People-Eater? (Jerry Lewis anyone?)
