    Well, it’s not a literal translation, but it’s a valid one. Perhaps a more direct (but still not literal, and slighly localizaed) translation would be “Secretaría de Rentas Internas” or “Dirección de Rentas Internas”.

    Depending on what country you’re talking about it might be named completely different, though. It may also have more or less funcions than the (US) IRS.

    Amin is right, depending on what country it might be named different. In Spain is Hacienda.
