This sounds like it was copied word for word from an old “Mutt & Jeff” comic.

I was thinking the same thing. Only, on Mutt and Jeff – everyone was wearing 30s style clothes!

Nick and Rose, a family of familiarity.

the only draw back of learning such words so early it is disruptive when they speak them all of the time. They lose their emotional impact.

    A curious observation I’ve made:

When little girls start using profanity, they usually grow up still using it and have a foul mouth even as adults.

When little boys start using profanity, once they learn that it’s wrong they’re usually able to stop and not use it any more.

I have no idea why that is, it’s just something that I have noticed.

Interesting. I never noticed that. I’d never heard profanity until my teens (really sheltered) and started cursing in my 20s. Didn’t realize how bad it was until my 30s and stopped. Maybe women pick up bad habits easier????

Judging from the last panel, I’d say the bird was a “cuckoo”!

As a woman I have always generally avoided use of any profanity (except when I learned to drive) I used to use terrible language in traffic and was very impatient. After 2 terms of traffic school for speeding tickets, I learned better.

I had a friend whose dad worked in a dangerous car parts factory. He had the most profane manner of speech ever – he imitated his dad.

On “Pre Teena”, the Sunday strips are on Monday.
    Here, they’re on Thursday!
Oh well, at least on Arcamax.com, they’re on Sunday.

Please…don’t start sounding like Limpid Lizard! ;-)

If she did that, the girl would probably call the police on her….or her mom, who’s probably an ever bigger foul mouth, would
