    Her real mommy just may give her a long closet time out.

    The way reality shows seem to be headed, this sounds like the “script” for one of them….. or even the “audition” process….

    Is she the woman who gives them the dog?

    LOL! Can you imagine the look on the lady’s face?

    Ruthie’s had a bad day — and now the nice lady at the door is having a bad day. Maybe she can handle it more gracefully!

    I dunno; I learned to behave without a spank in my life. Angry shouts, exile to my room, and deprivation of TV and/or dessert were punishment enough.

    @Tom Flapwell

    I loved being exiled to my room, it was the best place in the house (all my toys were there). I was the type of kid you needed to spank. As for Ruthie, it does appear that she needs an attitude adjustment.

    Her real mommy just may give her a long closet time out.

    By that time, she should be able to sit down again!

    Is she the woman who gives them the dog?

    After having the door slammed in her face, she’s more likely to give them the bird! ;-D

    I think it’s high time that spanking kids was brought back—to HELL with the PC police!!!

    So, you’re saying that kids that spank and the PC Police should both go to Hell? (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

    Have you already started fasting??
    Yom Kippur is not for over a week!
    And you sound food-deprived, LOL.

    Starts a week from next Friday night. I always eat the biggest meal I can before sundown, that way the only meals I miss are breakfast and lunch. (We have a break-the-fast potluck after the concluding service.)

    You’re not alone! I don’t know where the writer gets ideas for kids being so obnoxious. Maybe he got away with acting like ruthie, but my generation would have become extinct if we acted like her.
