    A pizza tree in your stomach would be a bad thing, how?

    Notice that he didn’t tell her there’s no such thing as a pizza tree. They grow in bushes.

    there you go. MAKE her eat processed meat.
    Just because YOU choose to eat that junk, doesn’t mean your daughter has to

    I remember when we thought if we ate a seed something would grow in our bellies. So we were very careful. I wonder why adults have to tease kids like that, does it really make them feel so good to tell them lies and scare them?

    My Mom used to make homemade Chef Boy-Ar-Dee pizza and I wouldn’t touch it! I didn’t think I’d like pizza. As I got older and tried it, I saw how dumb I’d been! But, I made up for it later. I could eat pizza everyday now! LOL

    I wish someone would have told me that! It would keep me off pizza. When I was in first or second grade, our teacher told us that if we swallowed gum it would stay in our tummies and never go away. All of the gum would stick together until it filled up our whole stomachs. To this day, I still can’t swallow gum.

    You don’t want to run the risk of the gum causing blockage in your intestines. That will hurt and surgery. No better not do it.

    Little children like Ruthie will react like that. Best to calm them down, not strike them while telling them not to cry.

    If only. I’d be planting pepperoni all over my yard, just waiting for the great pizza harvest to ensue!!

    Apple seeds=cyanide, Pepperoni (except for the ONE uncured one I found) has nitrates which can cause all kinds of health issues. When I am done with my year as a vegan I will just use mushrooms with the spicyness of pepperoni added (and lowfat cheeses, except a little Reggiano).

    Ruthie, what makes you think your dad either doesn’t know better or is lying to you?

    @SUSAN NEWMAN

    SOMEONE is asking for a spanking!
    At least, that’s what would have happened to me if I acted like Ruthie!

    The spanking would likely be administered on the backside of the culprit who fed Ruthie that bullsh!t about apple trees and pizza trees growing in her gut.

    Ruthie, what makes you think your dad either doesn’t know better or is lying to you?

    And what makes you think that Daddy is the one who fed her that malarkey? I suspect that Joe is the real source of the bullsh!t artistry, here.

    @DAZZ

    Apple ceeds = hydrocyanide (aka B17), not quite the same thing. It is cyanide in a chemical box, that is safe until the box is opened by an enzyme – which is predominantly made in cancer cells. So while an overdose can kill you, small amounts are very good for you. Just like with the oil based vitamins (A,D,E).
