People may think it’s strange for folks our age to enjoy each other so much, but my man makes me very happy after the 37 years I’ve loved him.

They are a great couple. I always wondered what it would be like growing old with someone. Now I am learning first hand and grateful for it.

Where can I get one of those? I’d Google it, Bing it, whatever, but I 1, am not sure what to enter for search terms, and 2, afraid the results would not be “work-friendly”.

Kab Buch: I had written a letter to the editor protesting Bush and Perry hogging the spotlight at Van Cliburn’s funeral when they had worked unceasingly to keep Cliburn and Smith second-class citizens. The following issue carried a letter attacking me for promoting my “agenda”. It was then that I realized that I had written it the very day of the half-year “anniversary”. My wife and I had a good laugh over it. My real agenda was and is equal justice under just laws. “Each man’s death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind” and that bell tolls for each of us every time.
