    Today’s strip is a prime example of why One Big Happy is such a great comic. It portrays the joy of having children and shows how cute and lovable they can be in their silly childish nuances. No spies, no explosions, no fear, just cute childish silliness portrayed with complete reality.

    I have to agree, David. I also love how the kids don’t have adult dialogue. It’s totally, absolutely kid-like. Also, Ruthie’s malaprops are some of the best things ever!

    When my little grandaughter plays “pizza shop” and asks me what I want, I always order “extra frogs.” That breaks her up, although she knows it’s coming every time.
