Is that Ruthie’s grandfather in disguise?

So many children in comics are little schemers, always working the angles to cheat the system.

It’s not just in the comics.

Either today’s strip is out of sequence or my watch has stopped.

For the umpteenth time, this strip is delayed here, per the contract GoComics has with the strip’s creator. If you examine the white area before the last panel, it starts with ©2002 and ends with 12-22, meaning the strip originally ran December 22, 2002.

I think Lizard was referring to the Christmas theme being shown in January, rather than the 2002 strip being shown in 2013.

I knew that before writing my comment.
There is nothing out of sequence about today’s strip; it follows yesterday’s, just like it did in 2002. And, unless GoComics suddenly decides to change years, or months (could be summer for all I know) in what it shows here, the next 3 will also be about Christmas (gifts); get over it already.
The strip has to be delayed, but it doesn’t have be timed up with the holidays. I have no idea why GoComic chose to start the 2002 strips with one that was 3 weeks behind the 2012 calendar, but they did.
