   I’m glad I went to school back when you could take a pocket knife to school without getting into trouble! (Growing up on a farm, I was used to carrying one all the time…)
   And a slingshot isn’t a weapon, it’s a toy!!

   Not now a days. Andy Griffen episode. Opie was told to be careful with slingshot. Accidently kills mother bird. Scence Opie was sitting on bed,and Andy reminded him of what he said. A punishment he raised up window to make him hear the baby birds crying for their mother. What he did was raise the birds until they can be on their own.

   Nearly anything used in malice (or in folly) can be a weapon. When will people learn that it is intention and action that determine blame, not object?

   Making a wise observation doesn’t require one to be a member of any organization, no matter that the NRA has hijacked it for their own purposes.

    I’ve seen some custom slingshots you wear on your arm and can be hurtful if used on people. A definite weapon.

    Might as well throw in, “When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” Seems like there are a lot more outlaws than there used to be. Pretty soon they’ll outnumber the good guys.
