   Don’t wait too long Ruthie’s mom and dad! My parents did, and my sister is almost 9 years younger than me. We had nothing in common growing up and she was always an annoyance. I always envied a girl in school who’s younger sister was only a year younger.

   My sister is less than a year younger then I am, then I have a lot of other siblings, the last one is fifteen years younger than i am

   My sister is 14 years younger then me. Guess who was the live in babysitter, especially since I stayed home for college.

   My own mother was a ‘surprise baby’ too, back in 1915..
   11 years ‘behind’.. LOTS of grousing about THAT !

    And here I thought having two kids 3-years-age difference was raising two families. My 2nd cousin informed me her parents my first cousin waited 5-years between three of them.

    My daughter and youngest son are less than a year apart – She in August and he in June – she now 40, he 39 – but have always acted like twins.
    Think alike, without speaking, fight between themselves but woe betide anyone who criticizes the other !

    I wished and asked my folks for a brother for years. I gave up about age 13.
