Ruthie was polite enough for me. After all, she did say “excuse me” and such, I didn’t even notice “please” missing.

Back where I came from we had a word for women like that.

Good going lady. Being ugly to polite little girl. That woman should be ashamed of herself.

Forget it Ruthie…just dry your hands on her coat tail.

The lady probably figures that making physical contact with a strange child in a bathroom is asking for a lawsuit. She figures she’ll talk to the kid until her hands air-dry.

And how come the management hasn’t installed a low-mount hand dryer for customers in a wheelchair?

    Welcome to the 21st Century.

After calling adults ma’am and sir when I was a child, I’ve had to become used to children who don’t even call me mister. Standards change, and the children follow what they’re taught.

Having spent months in a wheelchair, I totally agree! Also, I dislike those towel dispensers that require two hands to pull on it. What about people who need to use one hand on a cane or walker, or have one disabled for some reason? I really do appreciate the motion detector sensors on those, although it is good to have one manual one just for backup.

But I’ll bet that using that word on this board would get a person banished…

Would she been “polite enough” for you in today’s strip at creators.com?

Those two-handers have a knob on the side for the “emergency feed” if you only have one hand free. Oh no! The paper won’t feed! It’s an emergency!!

Ruthie if you asked me I would have no problem and not do as that woman asked. You asked politely.

Considering they had moved on before she made her comment, yes.
