What really happened when the ‘rents visited…
    -
Paul: Louise, let me take that coat for you. There could be a grease splotch here or there that could get you, and that doesn’t look like a run-of-the-mill coat from G.Crow.
    -
Evelyn: No it isn’t. Louis, let Paul take your coat so it doesn’t get dirty.
    -
Paul: This coat is really light.
    -
Louis: Yeah, It’s vicuna. It’s better than cashmere. It was made for me. I like that it has a clear, spare style that isn’t trying too hard. It’s my personal style signifier. It informs my own simple aesthetic.
    -
Claire: Dad is a great aesthete.
    -
Paul: Ha, ha … were you recruited, Louis?
    -
    Evelyn: It cost $6,000.
    -
    Paul: Holy crap!

Mostly it’s just the people who want to sell you things. Banks, insurance companies, grocery stores. If you will buy it, they will snoop.
