Maybe she is at the door holding off all the neighborhood kids banging down the door of an Italian cafe to get more candy?

Yes – Lulu! What did the vet say? Inquiring minds want to know…

; ) And, I’ll have figs with almonds, please.

That biscotti sounds delicious… Trick or Treat, Gianni!

Probably not, but it WOULD be the kind of sweet treats that children were given there. Last time that I made candied orange peel (from mandarin oranges on my tree) the children at pot luck party did not like the 85% dark chocolate.

My own taste has changed now – to plain 90%

The storylines here do tend to drop off a cliff when the going gets too technical. Too many readers protest when details are wrong. I’m still waiting to find out what happened to their car that was in the shop last year. And I don’t think I’m ever going to get an answer as to how Paul can withstand his monk-like sufferings.

Those foods Gianni mentioned are a lot better for you than over sweetened candy.
