We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

There was a Chef Boiardi.

@simpsonfan2 Proud of his Italian heritage, Boiardi sold his products under the brand name “Chef Boy-Ar-Dee” so that his American customers could pronounce his name properly.

Now that name always reminds me of “Ratatouille” — The other famous chef….M. Boy-Ar-Dee.

I always thought the origin of “Boy-Ar-Dee” was “Boy! Are Deze Good!”

If his place starts making more money Gianni will be able to find a wife – probably from among his customers, too. This has got to be a rather sterile existence for him, living without close female companionship. All the men here, except of Gus, are depicted rather one-dimensionally as raving lunatics, or simpletons. But Gianni is looking for a woman.

I’m more like Gus. He won’t let loose on the wool carpet or parquet floor no matter how late Sammi is.
