my husband came home from the grocery last evening. he was upset. he’d been looking for a heart-shaped box of chocolates. but he couldn’t find one. he was going to buy two so he could have his own box as well as giving me the other for Valentine’s day. sometimes i wonder about the man …

A hug and a lingering kiss are the missing details here that would lend a desired touch of verisimilitude to this romance. Otherwise this just looks a lot like Halloween.
