We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Why doesn’t she do the right thing and ask the people that do come why they do and if there were any changes they think should be made. Word of mouth is the cheapest and best kind of advertising.

At least Paul is here in the picture. You can’t help but consider the possibilities of Paul’s life. Hey, we’ve already seen enough of the cat, for example. We know Lulu is at heart a wild animal, capable of great athleticism, able to grab a fly out of the air. But the rest of the time she is thoroughly domesticated, not wanting its paws in the snow. But the real question is, how domesticated is Paul? His field is biology. How does he stifle the millions of years of evolution pushing the human male to procreate? Readers would be on the edge of their seats witnessing the mighty struggles Paul might be encountering with his personal integrity, as nubile female students with poor academic backgrounds, but big ambitions and a lot of street smarts strive to “earn” a good grade from Paul. Fans would be transfixed at the sheer power of life or failure Paul wields when a surfeit of sweat forms on his brow and his breath quickens while his gaze fixates on the heaving bosom of a zaftig pre-med student panicked by her test grade.

Nice thought but the strip is named “Claire”, not “Paul”. I like your imagery though :)
