We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

I certainly like to have the chef visit with the diners. A chef with an accent would not hurt my impression of the cousin.

One of my favorite restaurants, The Sicilian, has a very charismatic owner/chef AND great food! It started dinky and a few years later expanded-in fact, he did most of the work himself! Great place!

At least Claire knows Gianni well enough to predict what he’d say. I wonder if Gianni’s daughter would like to schmooze?

Gianni’s daughter doesn’t know him as well as Claire does!

That’s a great idea! How about Claire herself going out there and schmoozing the customers?
