Hey! The owner/chef is Italian using old family recipes, etc., maybe you could design a new menu around that!

Phooey. Claire’s plan may not have worked but the owner should take responsibilty too. It’s his restaurant. This is starting to bug me.

What the heck is she doing on that computer? Claire’s last job was at the library and before that was G. Crow, in clothing sales. Doesn’t seem like the kind of background that will be useful for this.

About On A Claire Day

The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.

We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.
