We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Just mute the commercial so you don’t have to listen to it.

Better yet, take the remote away from him when it is something you really want to watch.

Or free yourself from tv completely and pick up a book.

I’m with Monkeyhead on this one. One of the reasons I don’t watch TV anymore is because I’m married to a channel surfer. It’s just easier to read a book.

“Commercial Roulette”, reprinted in “The Mad Sampler”, played on the idea that changing the channel during the commercial would just get you another commercial, with hilarious results.
