A while back Claire said they should serve Middle Eastern food along with the Italian. None of the commenters here agreed. Claire should have read those explanations.

I thought it was odd that she basically handed them the new menu then flew off to Europe.
That said, here recent trip and memories of flavors could help them tune things up.

About On A Claire Day

The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.

We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.
