I’ll grant this, but overall, Italy still has the best food.

I love real Italian pizza. I haven’t been to an Italian restaurant in U.S. Some American franchise stuff is okay. But they don’t compare to the pizza I had in Europe.

Still longing to find lasagna like I had in Luino, Italy. Only the nettle soup I had on a farm in Finland is more memorable to my tastebuds.

About On A Claire Day

The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.

We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.
