We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Been there a few times with my dogs. They’ve become escape artists, so I can’t leave them without supervision anymore.

Once she calms down she will be glad you are okay. Good thing they didn’t get into the dumpster – that could be disaster…..

it could have been worse. Neither one got picked up by Animal Control.

If we leave the gate open and our dog “escapes” the back yard, she goes to the front door and scratches to be let in

Paul could end up being treated like this by Claire in the future.

One of my dogs learned how to open the back gate. So, we tied the latch with a piece of clothesline. She promptly untied it and opened the gate. We had to buy a kiddy lock for the gate until we could teach her to only open it on command. It did help when my hands were full.
