The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.
We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Why does Claire act like Bradley smells okay when the enter the apartment from the outside?
Apparently, his coat was cold and the odor got strong when he got warmed up.

Has anyone else noticed that dogs smell (stink) when they come in from outside? They don’t have to ‘get into’ anything, just being outside is enough.

Yep! thebird55, little kids smell the same way. My cousin told our kids when they were little that they smelled like puppies! LoL!
