The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.
We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

It is rare for internet “friends” to even know each other.
My mother married Dad when she was 20 years old. She met him a church in the community of Tiawah.
What she did on dates wouldn’t be embarassing to us children.
But, Dad, who was 8 years older than Mom, did some things that were the “don’t do as I did” kind before he met her.
