The step into adulthood is a scary one. So much is new, unfamiliar, frightening, incomprehensible. Claire has just taken this step. She’s moved from her parents’ to her own apartment, to start life as an "adult". Armed with a good heart and an optimistic spirit, her challenge is she still has so much to learn about life: the nuts and bolts of managing a job, a home, how people interact, relationships, planning for her future, and so much more.
We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

I’m 18, fresh out of high school, and married for six months to a 90 year old widow whose deceased husband was a multi-billionaire. It was love at first sight and she even changed her will so everything goes to me.
Her kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren are upset. But what do they know about true love?
Can’t wait for my 10 year HS reunion so I can brag to all the snobs who voted me most likely to fail!

I have 4 jobs - book critic, film reviewer, cashier, and language tutor. I’m underemployed in the first three, unemployed in the fourth. I have no complaints.

But, Claire is employed full time, right?
And her male room mate - sort of common law husband in the sense that they share the same bed - is fully employed and his company sends him out of the country on assignments.
