I preferred Marks and Spencer. They have a food outlet in Euston Station that has a decent variety at a reasonable price. London is such a cosmopolitan city that you can find any cuisine in the world there.

When I lived in North Hollywood, sometimes for Sunday dinner, my friends would take me to Wellington’s (an English style pub which was actually a restaurant with a bar) for Champagne Brunch.

Sometimes Bangers with mashed potatoes and gravy were on the menu as the special. I told my friends that was incomplete and I asked for a side order of toasted English muffin.

    They liked my idea.

When we were seated, the wait staff filled the champagne glasses. And since they had free refills during the meal, Rob would make sure that he got his money’s worth with the champagne.

I am different than many folks; I like cream gravy on pancakes.

Hard to believe that a guy like Paul would want a Big Mac diet anywhere ….

When I was in England, we called Marks and Spencer Marks and Sparks. Did you?

When I went to France a few years ago for a visit, I went to a Mcdonalds a few times. It was next door to the hotel and wasn’t to bad, although it did taste a bit different then America’s.
