We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

So he picked up some British lingo. If he has the accent as well, then it’s all phoney. But words and phrases won’t make him a Brit.

bluetopazcrystal, it’s true to some extent, I know I am easily susceptible to accents, if I spend an extended time with my Argentinian Grandmother I develop a Spanish Accent, and my two year old watches so much Caillou I start to prounounce things like a Canadian, “HOWse, Abowt, Sowrry,” it was really embarrassing to have that pointed out to me during a phone conversation with my sister the other day!

“Lord love a duck!”
About as likely as finding a yank who actually says “Gee Whillikers”.
