    So he picked up some British lingo. If he has the accent as well, then it’s all phoney. But words and phrases won’t make him a Brit.

    bluetopazcrystal, it’s true to some extent, I know I am easily susceptible to accents, if I spend an extended time with my Argentinian Grandmother I develop a Spanish Accent, and my two year old watches so much Caillou I start to prounounce things like a Canadian, “HOWse, Abowt, Sowrry,” it was really embarrassing to have that pointed out to me during a phone conversation with my sister the other day!
