If she gives up the apartment, and talks her parents into taking care of her pets, she’d save a bundle that way.

That happened once with a loaf of French Bread that was sitting on my kitchen table before I knew it my brother’s dog (who I was dogsitting at that time) & my little dog were having a feast after the large dog pulled the French Bread of the table & both took off with the Bread that I was supposed to have with my dinner that night!

RRAmon, if she gives up the apartment, she’ll have to come back and rent another one. It’d cost her more due to having to store her stuff, come up with the deposit and first/last, and then the moving expenses.

    Claire,

Your dinner is gone with the wind.

We had a Black Tomcat who got holf of our pot roast, the kind tied with twine.
He ate one of the twine threads. He was in trouble later as we had to take him to the vet to have the piece of twine removed. He didn’t like that feeling one bit.

Then there was the time I cooked a duck. I took it out to cool, went to the basement to put in some laundry, came back to find my cattle dog had managed to pull it down and eat it. And the grease. She was well greased the next day. Not a pretty or fragrant sight.
