We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

It’s better than it was four years ago, when I was last there. One dollar is worth about 62 pence; it was around 52 in 2005. There are quite a few places there to pick up decent food and drinks that are reasonably priced.

Traffic in London is said to be horrendous.
Reaching your food destination may be a problem.

When I was in London in 1977 (on a chilly July) I fed myself just fine for shillings and pence! Bob was my Uncle!
