    I can explain the Chanel bag thing; women have a natural instinct to gather and an attraction to pretty stuff (a bit like a crow with thumbs). I can’t explain the car thing.

    The shopping in Shanghai is amazing! But the markets in the towns sourrounding Shanghai are even better because there are so few foreign tourists wandering through. You can get the most fabulous clothes, shoes, and accessories for thrift store prices if you know where to look and take a Chinese shopping buddy who has a black belt in haggling.
