Aussie…. you beat me to it!

And Brian… the good news is, what happens out of town, stays out of town….
except for those times when that’s the bad news.

I haven’t heard potatoes referred to as a starch for years.
And, if they’re cooked when fresh (and not stored in the refrigerator), they won’t turn out starchy.
    .

Perhaps the poor fellow needs more complex carbs.

On the positive side, it’s not a tuber.

How did he even reach the doctor’s office? (recalls “Toy Story 3”) Oh, right.

Those parts will fit on a carrot, too. He could come back as a healthier, non-starchy version of himself!

Carrots are good, but I like parsnips even more.

And speaking of healthy veggies, I need to post an update to my breakfast bars (on the old recipe page of Citizen Dog). Instead of the 3 apples that I was using, I have twice made it now with equal parts of beet root, cranberries and Mandarin oranges from my tree (with all the zest from 4 oranges- using a peeler). Very yummy and healthy!
