    Went walking in Downtown Vancouver a while back- I was probably the only one not looking down at a phone- and the one having to dodge every second one of those addicts!

    It’s not just the neck pain….
    it’s the collisions….


    All the broken bones, sprained ankles, bruises, cuts etc that result from walking into mailboxes, poles and other people,
    and from absentmindedly jaywalking in front of busses.


    The ones who text while driving are a special bonanza for the medical professions.
    And since so many are young, they represent a lifetime of therapy billings.

    When I was a kid, I used to read when I walked. My mom thought I’d fall into a manhole or something. Never did. Gave it up eventually. Mostly.
