I always knew those Kings men were sort of cracked…

I’ve never known any horse that would even attempt to put anything back together again.

If you’re that concerned about whether a horse has opposable thumbs, perhaps you should give a thought to the fact that Humpty Dumpty wasn’t even an egg.

‘All the King’s Horses and all the king’s men, couldn’t put Humpty together again.’
    Typical government workers.

Who couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty together again for real.

Prof danglais, Doctor Toon: The King’s horses were members of the cavalry, not their mounts, and the King’s men were infantry. Neither are very good at restoring the damage they cause. Humptys who hesitate are lost.

I see the shell, but shouldn’t there be red tape when the government is involved?

I wonder how much you would have to ‘shell’ out to buy that sculpture?

But of course Humpty Dumpty was an Egg Man.

The rhyme didn’t mention eggs, but it was supposed to be a riddle to which the answer was an egg. Doesn’t work with our modern conception of riddles, I know.

Curly gripes that he doesn’t get as much as Larry and Moe for breakfast.
Moe says, “Why are you complaining? You get the whole egg shell and the whole bone (that the peice of ham went around)?”
