This comic strip is a view of the world as seen through the dirty glasses of a boy named Wally. He's a bit of a loner, a bit of a daydreamer and he has a bit of an attitude. Armed with his trusty pen, he fills his sketchbooks with scribbles and doodles forming a potpourri of ideas he entitles "Nothing is not Something." With this collection, he hopes one day to become a world-famous artist, or at the very least, a cartoonist, the drunken-uncle of the art world.
At this point, "Nothing is not Something" does not appear in any newspapers, in any city, in any country, on any planet, in any universe. That's because Wally doesn't want to be "owned" by "The Man." That's his story and he's sticking to it.

In our church, parents would hand out peppermints during sermons … one minister remarked that they used to discuss whether they had ‘one or two peppermint’ sermons,. He then said that someone had left a single peppermint on his pulpit … hint hint…

I briefly attended a congregation that actually cancelled the service on Superbowl Sunday. Very briefly.

Car racing = boring. Look out !! It’s a left hand turn !! Wow, I wonder what will happen next???
It ’s the only sport red-necks can follow when they are totally trashed.

RE: Car racing = boring. On the other hand, if you are a sponsor, racing is a great sport. The saying goes: “win on Sunday, cash on Monday”. So I guess its all about perspective.

Sounds like a church I attended for a brief time. During football season if there were an early game on Sundays our services would be over by 11:30.

way back when the circut included the now bulldozered Riverside internatinal raceway. Riverside was a right hand ROAD course with hairpins, esses, hills, and only one high bank leaind into the srtightaway infront fo the grandstand. The mechanics hated it. they had to totally retool the cars.
