Mine are great at it!
It hit 96 F today, and I saw my short hair chihuahuas outside lying on their backs on the gravel, soaking up the sun. There is an open dog door, so they could have come into the cool house if they wished. They just love the heat.
Pets sunny side up!
You forgot Hobbs
Contentment at its best.
Doing what they do best. Gotta love ’em.
I always thought my cat was solar powered. I know what the cat eats, I know what comes out the other end and I know how much fur she sheds – in accordance with the laws of thermodynamics, we need to account for the excess mass of hair. My conclusion is that my cat is capable of photosynthesis.
Working on a tan?
I’m not sure, but I think the guy is considering moving the easy chair over and joining them.
Chuckles! This is so cute!
Nice work if you can get it, and if you get it, won’t you tell me how…
Mine lives outside and usually finds a shady spot.
I’m surprised there isn’t a Wileybear in that line…
Practice, practice, practice.
Thank you, Wiley, wonderful strip.
What? No walk?
Today, American corporations would be working out how to offshore this activity, because pets in other countries are cheaper to fund, in order to increase Shareholder Value. Besides, American pets are immigrant lazy good-for-nothings, who can exist very well on minimum wages.
Says the man who doesn’t believe in purity of races, knows everyone was an immigrant at some point in their history, and adheres to the notion that all humans are actually more alike than different from one another. But why pay him any mind, he’s just a hopelessly ignorant Canadian. And if you want real fun, just ask him about any/all religions.
Two words (or one hyphenated one) plus a picture, and it’s funnier than any of my other regular strips today with three or four frames of dialog.
Yaawwwnnn. Makes me want to take a nap.
