Clothing was invented for protection, not some vague concept of “modesty”- though I agree that the greater part of the population is more pleasantly viewed “covered”.

Wrong. We are all traveling in time.

Gaijinrabbit is correct, we are currently moving forward in time as is everyone else on the planet. With telescopes we can see back in time as stars were forming.

The process of energy flowing from high density to low density is the “arrow of time”.
Our existence depends upon that flow, so travel in time would necessitate motion outside of the local time stream, though still maintaining that streaming motion. It isn’t impossible, but present theory regarding exceeding the speed of light to achieve temporal transit are inaccurate. The entire light speed continuum must be exited while in transit by conversion of matter to dark energy, or translation to dark matter beyond the laws of this spectral universe.

The band I’m occasionally in has had several gigs at nudist facilities. When people start winking and leering when they hear that, I tell them to go into Wal-Mart, and imagine the first hundred people you see (including the greeter) naked. That’s about the look of it.
