it would seem to be due to global cooling, actually. Water vapor doesn’t get very far, condensing out before it can be made available on land to convert thermal energy to kinetic energy, which creates localized atmospheric heating from the aridity that accompanies glacial recession and desert encroachment. Quite often, it condenses before it can even reach land because of the cold and thin atmosphere with which the Earth is currently blessed, which we call a tropical storm. The only glaciers not affected by the cooling are in the Himalayas, which are fed by warm tropical waters in the Indian Ocean. But you know all of that already.

… and the oceans that are miles deep and make up 75% of the planet’s surface are warming because the globe is cooling. Oh, I forgot they are rising because so much water is being dropped on Mount Everest. When the GLOBE cools global ice around the world increases and the oceans drop. Stop listening to your talk show loud mouths, and use a little common sense.
