I remember that… In gym class at school, the teacher always had another student climb it. I never saw a gym teacher do more with the rope than hold it still while we all tried it.

At the YMCA though, the phys ed instructor always climbed the rope… I always thought that was odd.

Also there were no knots in it… Straight rope… it was tough.

Where’s the golden parachute landing for rich CEOs?
    That’s right, there aren’t any.

In the afterlife, I would not want to travel in the direction a parachute travels.

I never saw any of our gym teachers do anything athletic. It was a case of, “Do this.”

My gym teacher was a Marine. He never told us to do anything he hadn’t done… dammit.

Our rope didn’t have knots either. I guess St. Peter here is giving the gym teachers a break. Most of the gym teachers at my high school had long since eaten their way out of their rope climbing days – knots or not. One though could do it without using his legs.

Every year, at the first assembly our gym teacher would do a standing back flip to impress all the new students … It got a little wearing when you’d seen it 4 or 5 times already.

Jacob may have seen a corporate ladder, but Judas used a rope.
