    So, you’re saying that the friction of re-entry into the atmosphere caused the fire.
    I’m sorry, your boat is only covered when it’s in the water, not when it’s in the air. Denied.

    No, the fires were caused by the ice volcanoes. The boat’s covered for stuff that happens in the Atlantic in the winter. Ice volcanoes are notoriously common around Maine during the winter. That’s why you see so many snow snakes there, too.

    That doesn’t compute. Subsurface heat is necessary for a cryovolcano to erupt all right, but what is emitted by the ice volcano is not molten lava or anything with heat in it. And it becomes solid in the subzero temperatures around it. So Meh~thodology’s answer makes more sense. If any of this was ever to make sense….
