Thanks. It was a pretty good day. Certainly better than what Danae is going thru.

Danae is just upset because her Dad isn’t buying into her fantasy world today

Danae should get the day off anyway for using her imagination… even if it didn’t work. in which case it did work… um, so that would be a contradiction of …? Whatever, let her stay home.

Groundhog Day is an “observance”, not a holiday. A holiday is a day when the banks, post offices and libraries are all closed.

“Classic” indeed! Sounds like it could have been a “Calvin & Hobbes” cartoon.

How sad, just because she put her trust (or excuse) in an innocent stuffed animal(?). A tragic consequence. Lucy and diamonds in the sky….

Only in the comics does a horse go to bed with a child. This is way too funny. In case you forgotten the Grinch stole ground hog day in Brewster.

Lucy isn’t a stuffed toy animal like Hobbes. She’s "real"’ like Snoopy.

Danae may have thrown Lucy under the bus, but at least she didn’t throw Lucy to the wolves. We have Homer allowing his captors to throw the slave who fed him to the wolves, and thinking it was great since it saved his skin. So anything Danae does is much less abusive, in comparison….
