When I put my apartment on the market (through an estate agent), the builder working on the apartment across the landing put in an offer through his employees!

Fortunately, my company was paying for my relocation expences.

Next time I move, it’ll be with the help of 6 sturdy lads and a pine box.

My other half (56) was born in this house. Seems odd to me, who has lived in 19 different houses in 60 years.

Just take care the cops can’t link you to the arson — tho’ chances are, they will in spite of your care — and you end with an enforced move, and extended sojourn in the Maine State

a friend was attempting to dig a hole in his backyard to plant a bush. he severed several utility lines. made a mess, and the utility people were ever so upset with him.

Good luck selling it. Who moves to Maine?

Don’t they have the “call before you dig” ads on the radio, and notices in all of the utility bills, where you live? And the 800 number?

“Who moves to Maine?” I’ve been wondering if Wiley is going for a “Gift of the Magi” thing here, in which Victoria is going to notice a nice home for sale back in her old home town. After all, she would know the address, and know it’s him, and figure out there’s only one reason he would move.

OTOH one does notice that the first thing he does is think about selling the house, rather than contacting Victoria and asking whether she’d like some company. Could be a mistake if she’s met someone southified . . .
