    The names exist in real life, but there is no obvious connection to football. I wonder if Wiley is doing a “shout-out” to two friends.

    Here in Canada, somebody was, or is, drawing up some heavy duty penalties for airlines that overbook.

    Already happened. The Baltimore Orioles angered football fans by not letting the Baltimore Ravens play their sesaon opener at home, a couple of weeks ago. (Hey, the Os scheduled first!)

    The really big guys wearing helmets and armor might have a more…. defensible argument than the folks dressed for casual day. Though the do have bats. Head butts vs. “double headers”?

    Typical airline operation. The pitching rubber is 45 degrees off.

    The pitcher is hurling 98 MPH fast balls at the dugout.

    True, Orioles and Ravens don’t share a stadium… but they share the parking lot. So the baseball fans would have gotten in the way of the tailgating. And THAT is why the Ravens wouldn’t play at home.
