It would be better to have one that is a bit more mobile. Like a DeLorean, perhaps.

But it should look like something that wouldn’t arouse too much suspicion. A car in Ancient Rome would be noticed. But if you can build a time machine, you can probably include invisibility.

What else? Some sensors to make sure you don’t step out into fire, or a volcano.

Movement. The Earth rotates, orbits the Sun, the Sun moves in space. One place on earth is moving through space. Maybe you can lock on to the center of the Earth. If you go back far enough, like to see dinosaurs, better allow for Continental Drift.

And don’t forget germs. Dinosaur era germs, now extinct, could kill you, and there is no vaccine for them.

Yeah, and you can include a Chameleon Circuit to make it change it’s shape to blend in to any era.
Of course, it might get stuck in the shape of a 20th Century British Police Call box. And then you’d be sued by the BBC.

Jeffery, if these guys are bothering you. Try putting them into a temporal loop. Around and around and around they go, living the same time period over and over again ad infinitum… You don’t even have to bury the bodies. There are no bodies they don’t die they just keep going in the same loop while everyone else goes on with their lives unmolested.

Wiley I won’t ask how the time ship can have the later time ship be in the same spot with its older self. The comic is funny though.

There is a Clark Ashton Smith story about time traveling in space. Leave the earth and to two other planets as they reach them during millions of years of time.
